I’m Shalini Prashar, and together with my partner Gagandeep Bhutani, we co-founded YukonCart. After moving to Whitehorse, I was captivated by the creativity and resilience of local vendors — from handmade crafts to fresh produce, each product reflected the spirit of the Yukon.
However, many vendors lacked the tools to sell beyond local markets. That inspired us to create YukonCart — a platform that removes digital barriers and connects these businesses with customers across the region.
Our personal mission is to help local businesses grow through visibility, support, and a streamlined online shopping experience.
